In this talk, we first review the most updated research and efforts on smart supply chains under Industry 4.0 and discuss the effect of emerging information and communication technologies, such as big data, blockchain, and internet of things, on supply chain management. Then a couple of our research projects in dual-channel supply chain management, and smart supply chains are presented. Those projects are motivated by real world problems. Finally, some future research directions on the subjects are discussed.
